Course Description

The purpose of this introductory course is to equip heralds to preach expository sermons. We will do so by following Haddon Robinson’s 10-steps of preparing an expository sermon.

In addition, we will sharpen our presentational skills (delivery), with attention given to the strategic use of rhetorical argumentation, manuscripting (style and clarity) and finally, the preaching of one sermon from the NT epistle.

Knowledge of how to study and interpret the bible is mandatory.

*Pre-requisite: Completed HE101 or its equivalent.
