Singapore is home to people from many nations. How do we welcome them, understand them and share the gospel with them? Andrew Sabaratnam leads us from God’s plan for all peoples, through loving our neighbour and building cultural intelligence, to reaching out to migrants.

The course looks at:

  1. God’s multicultural redemption plan, and what it means to love our neighbour.
  2. Cultural intelligence: getting below the surface of culture and adapting to others.
  3. Cultural dimensions that shape how people communicate, relate and decide.
  4. Contextualising the gospel, and reaching out to migrants.

Andrew Sabaratnam

Guest Lecturer

Andrew Sabaratnam is a Senior Advisor (and former Senior Director) of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. He has over 33 years of experience in the education sector. Andrew is also a certified trainer (Cultural Intelligence Center, USA) in Cultural Intelligence, and has conducted workshops and seminars for corporates, churches, and Christian organisations. Andrew has a Masters in Christian Studies from the Biblical Graduate School of Theology and currently worships at Hebron Bible-Presbyterian Church, Singapore.
