Programme Description

Graduate Certificate in Missions Studies

BGST's Graduate Certificate in Missions Studies (GCMS) equips you with a foundation in biblical and cultural exegesis, a space to develop spirituality and discernment, and a wide perspective about missions in the 21st century.

We have partnered with missions practitioners and agencies to co-teach, and to offer missions practicum trips to integrate your learning. The GCMS program is complemented by BGST's expertise in integrative theology, spiritual formation, and leadership. This short 15-credit program can be completed part-time within 2 years.

The GCMS is right for you if:

  • You are considering a calling to full-time cross-cultural missions.

  • You are serving in a missions sending or support committee.

  • You are keen to learn more about the breadth of cross-cultural missions.
