Instructor

Mr Hor Guo Yi

Lecturer

Currently heading the Centre for Equipping and Discipleship (CED), Guo Yi also serves at Covenant Evangelical Free Church. Before earning his MDiv from Regent College in Vancouver, he spent years as a chemical engineer in the oil & gas and pharma industries. Today, he channels that analytical background into his passion for church pedagogy and Christian education. When he isn’t working, you’ll likely find him gaming, tucked away with a good book, or hunting for a great meal.

Dr Quek Tze-Ming

Lecturer in New Testament

Dr Quek Tze Ming serves as the Lecturer in New Testament and Registrar at BGST. A former lawyer, he transitioned into ministry with the Fellowship of Evangelical Students (Singapore) before pursuing advanced theological education. He holds a DipCS from BGST, as well as an MDiv and ThM from Regent College, and completed his PhD in New Testament Studies at the University of Cambridge. Specialising in the intersection of the Old and New Testaments, Tze Ming is actively involved in his local church's teaching ministry. He is married to Sharon, with whom he has two daughters. His interests outside of academia include local gastronomy, oenology, football, and film.
